Adding roasted beans to your product selection or adding to your already established range takes time, the flavours have been developed and you want your customers to enjoy that flavour at home, as well as at its peak to get those ‘feel good feels’ when they crack open that new pack of coffee.
Why add a one-way valve?
When considering packaging for your product, the cost, design and the addition of a one-way valve should all be weighed up. A series of tiny little holes (barely the size of pin pricks) go unnoticed within your packaging design but can literally make the difference between good flavour and amazing flavours. Head to our product pages to see the prices you will love!
A one-way valve helps increase the shelf life of your roasted coffee and enables your freshly roasted beans to ‘de-gas’ as they release their carbon dioxide. Letting your freshly roasted coffee beans de-gas in the open air can cause it to go stale prior to packaging whereas bagging it up quickly after roasting can help maintain optimal freshness by releasing that carbon dioxide.
When comparing the cost per package, adding a one way valve can be a considerably small investment to give your product a better chance of being received by your customers in it’s best shape. With an added cost of approx .20c for each valve, this small addition may give your brand an added edge over your competitors.
How can digitally printed packaging save my sanity?
If you are currently spending time labelling plain coffee packaging, eliminating the time you spend on that process may free up dollars wasted there (and save your sanity at the same time!). We find that many businesses aren’t even considering this time as a cost (time = $) The small investment in a one way valve and digitally printed coffee packaging may also be negligible when you can eliminate those labor costs from your business processes.
Designed in any way you can imagine your packaging design options are limited only by your imagination. With minimum orders as small as 500qty the opportunity is well and truly within reach to build your brand with great looking packaging and the ability to add multiple SKUs to your product range with ease and forget plain packaging and time consuming labelling.
Of course; if you prefer plain packaging we can always print whatever colour you require to best represent your brand. With only some exceptions, our products are very much the same material and finish as the plain packaging currently available on the market so why not break free from the crowd and go your own way?
